Natalie Bode is one of the most popular and richest Netballer who was born on December 16, 1982 in Adelaide, Australia. She led the Adelaide Thunderbirds again to the ANZ Championship title in 2013. In 2013, she retired from international and domestic netball as the only ANZ Championship captain to have two premierships.

She was one of the entrants in the Who’s Who in Australia 2012 edition.

Mo’onia Gerrard and Bode were Co-Captains on the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2010. They led their side to the ANZ Championship title, winning over the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic. Bode was named acting captain for her 50th international against the Diamonds in Jamaica on 9 August 2010. Sharelle McMahon couldn’t play because of injury. Bode was awarded a silver medal at 2010 Commonwealth Games. After McMahon’s Achilles tendon rupture, Bode was named as the new Australian captain. Bode led the Australian team to the gold medal at the 2011 World Netball Championships, winning a single goal victory over New Zealand.
